Mobile device information
"Will your online courses play on my mobile device?
We are getting this question more frequently as more people use their phones or tablets to access the internet.
Unfortunately there's not one easy answer to that, as different mobile devices are based on different operating systems and compatibility with various media is not universal on all devices.
However, here are some general answers that apply to the most common devices:
iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch
- Apple mobile devices currently do not support Flash, and many eLearning courses are Flash-based. Apple iOS devices also do not support Windows Media. Until Apple makes a decision to support Flash in their mobile devices, most eLearning will not play on them.
Android tablets/phones
- Android devices support Flash, so our Flash-based courses will play on them. However, Android devices do not currently support Windows Media, so many of our video courses are not compatible with them. BUT...we are currently working to convert our Windows Media video courses into Flash video as well, so in time, all of our content will be compatible with Androids. Windows tablets
- Windows tablets support Flash and Windows Media, so all of our courses should play on these devices. CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT WHICH DEVICES SUPPORT FLASH.
