Mike Moore is the Director of Training at HVAC Learning Solutions and one of the original founders of the organization. He has been an integral part of the Lennox family since 2000. He brings fourteen years of HVAC and ten years of corporate training experience to the table. Mike earned a B.S. Degree in Human Resources from the University of Kansas and he’s a true-blue Jayhawk, through and through. Mike’s credentials include certifications in Civil Treatment, Diversity Training, Achieve Global, and Society for Human Resource Management. He is also an active member of the American Society of Training & Development (ASTD). Mike’s primary passion is, “To ensure that all of our customers are served in an outstanding fashion. I want to have an organization where all of our employees are actively involved in finding ways to improve the business. Our organization grows because of our customers.” Fun fact you probably didn’t know about Mike: he is the self-proclaimed “world’s best soccer coach.”

Vickie Ashmore has been the Manager of Training for the HLS Department since its inception in 2005, but she has been involved with virtually every level of the HVAC industry for much longer than that. She started with Lennox Industries in 1989 as a Dealer Business Consultant, working one-on-one with dealers in Dallas, TX to improve all phases of their operations: production, sales, marketing, and organization. Later, as a Regional Marketing Manager, she worked closely with Lennox districts and dealers in the NE, SE, SW, and Canadian regions, helping them develop and implement their marketing plans. Vickie has a Bachelors degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington. In her spare time Vickie enjoys collecting English antiques, gardening, and spending time with her preteen daughter Elisabeth. Fact you probably wouldn't know: Despite appearances to the contrary, Vickie grew up with three brothers and can duke it out with the best of them.

Bonnie Maupin is currently the Marketing Manager for HVAC Learning Solutions and has served as a Regional Trainer and Area Trainer over the past 5 years. Bonnie is a veteran in the HVAC industry working with Lennox Industries for 40 years. Her extensive business-oriented background has included roles such as Territory Manager, Regional Marketing Manager, District Credit Manager and Business Development Specialist. Projects included new customer prospecting, retention and development in targeted markets; customized territory manager training; business coaching with customers; sales and marketing program development. Bonnie is also a popular speaker at the Lennox dealer meetings.

Jose De La Portilla is a Technical Trainer with HVAC Learning Solutions, based in Carrollton, Texas. Jose has had over 15 years experience in the trade with over 10 years as a technical instructor and field technical consultant working with Technicians, installers, sales people, designers, engineers, business owners, and operators. Jose earned his degree in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration technology from Long Beach City College in sunny Long Beach California. He is NATE certified in multiple specialties as well as being a NATE and EPA proctor. On a personal note, Jose is a proud husband and father. He volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America and has a deep love for literature and music. His favorite author is C.S Lewis for his contributions to both the fantasy and theological world. And with regard to music, he loves all kinds and has been playing the drums for over 20 years.

David Flanagin is an Instructional Designer at HVAC Learning Solutions (HLS). He joined the organization in 2007 and has over 15 years of experience in education at the university level. He graduated from Howard Payne University with a B.A. in English and Mass Communications and then completed a M.A. in English at Texas Tech University. David brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in eLearning, multi-media, and web development. On a personal note, he loves movies -- so much so in fact, that he writes reviews for Magill’s Cinema Annual, a yearly review publication. He also taught Film Studies and English at Howard Payne University. Fact you probably don’t know: David once hosted a radio show and owned a freelance media production business.

Dave Nichols is a Regional Training Manager with HVAC Learning Solutions (HLS), primarily supporting the Service Experts customer base. Dave joined HLS in 2004 and has over twelve years of service with the Lennox organization. He also brings over twenty-six years of experience in the HVAC industry. In addition, Dave has been involved in adult learning, training development and delivery for over twenty-two years. Outside of the industry, Dave worked for a manufacturer of fire fighting equipment, a paper manufacturer, customs broker, President of a Professional Association, computer distributor, and owned/operated a home renovation business. He also holds professional designations from the Fellow Credit Institute and as an Industrial, Commercial and Institutional Accountant. Dave and his wife have been married for 32 years. Their son is in the mutual fund business and their daughter owns a fine dining restaurant. Fact you probably don’t know about Dave: Being Canadian, Dave has been involved in ice hockey both as a player and coach for many years. One of the young men Dave coached recently made it to the NHL as a player.

Linda Rummans is an Instructional Designer at HVAC Learning Solutions (HLS). She joined HLS/Lennox in 2005. Linda has had almost 4 years of experience in the HVAC industry and over 8 years of experience in adult learning and training. She earned an Associates of Applied Science, Mid-Management from North Central Texas College. Linda is one of 10 siblings, and she and her husband have three children of their own (two sons and a daughter, and not an axe murderer among them, Linda is proud to say). In her spare time, Linda enjoys traveling, exercising, gardening, and reading. Fact you probably don’t know about Linda: She really enjoys music and plays the saxophone, clarinet, and flute.

Jan Shaffor is the Administrative Assistant at HVAC Learning Solutions. While her primary charter is to support Mr. Moore, she has been a long-standing source of support to everyone in the organization. She is also well known to our internal and external customers as a valuable resource for help and information, and plays a key role in our registration and administrative processes. Jan has been involved with the training organization since 2001 and with Lennox since 1993. In her spare time, Jan enjoys bowling, country dancing, camping, traveling, and most of all, spending time with her family. She is the proud matriarch of a very tight knit family of four children and seven grandchildren. Fact you probably didn't know about Jan: she rides a Suzuki Intruder 800 motorcycle and loves it!

Graeme Skeet is currently a Regional Training Manager with HVAC Learning Solutions, serving the Service Experts customer base. Born in Australia, Graeme has been in the United States for 14 years. He has been involved in the HVAC industry for 16 years (he spent 15 years as a Comfort Advisor, selling a variety of HVAC equipment and IAQ accessories). His career has included almost 30 years in sales. Graeme has a son living in Australia and his main interests are photography and railroads, railroads having taken him many places around the world.
